Overview of Wellness

Wellness encompasses the spiritual, emotional, and physical aspects of life. Essential oils are the "life-blood" of plants. The therapeutic grade essential oils have anti-microbial properties which make them especially useful for individuals with sensitivities to antibiotics. The therapeutic grade oils are now used in over 50 hospitals and clinics in the U.S. The holy anointing oil of the Old Covenant is an essential oil blend recipe for cleansing, healing, and/or restoring things and people. In the New Covenant, Jesus was anointed twice with essential oils. The church leaders are told in James to anoint the sick and pray for them. You may find additional information at Bobjan.com and Dr. David Stewart's books The Healing Oils of the Bible and The Chemistry of Essential Oils Made Simple. Essential oils and blends add nutrition and flavor to foods and drinks, lift the spirit, address microbes & super-bugs, improve circulation, clean the air, balance the body, purify water, reduce pain, repel insects, reduce inflamation, and are used in ointments and perfumes.

My desire is to share some ideas about holistic care for folks interested in that, particularly essential oils and their use in health care.

My holistic view of health care is one which considers the entire person. This portion of the site focuses on the philosophy of considering the entire being and how the spirit, body, and mind can be renewed: "But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31
